Spreading Christmas Cheer

We are kicking of this holiday season, with a brand new home. And a brand new Tree!! We couldn't be more excited.  It has been YEARS that we have wished for a big Christmas tree and finally IT IS HERE! And better yet... We finally get to use our tree rotater that we bought over 3 years ago! HA.

Yes... we are pretty nutty when it comes to holidays. We deck the halls, top to bottom.  From sheets to stockings to shelves. To prove it, we made a little video! :)

Now it is time to finish up our holiday shopping. And wrap the new edition to the Berney Christmas game madness.... Candycane Lane Trivia Game! It's a doozy so FAMILY... start studying now! :)

Merry Christmas!!!!

Parade of Lights

HELLO HOLIDAYS!!!

To kick off our holiday season, we joined Downtown Denver for the PARADE OF LIGHTS!   It has been years since I had been to a parade.  Probably not sense I was in one in High School! What a fun surprise.  There were massive floats like the Macy's Day Parade.  There were marching bands decked out in Xmas lights.  Frisbee Dogs.  People with fire.  Nutcracker music! I felt like a little kid again..... ew ew ew... look! Here comes the Penguin!

Giving Thanks!

As we all know, Thanksgiving is a time to remember all the things in life that we are so blessed to have... And right now Jason and I are so very thankful to be closer to our family now! The last several months have been such an exciting journey and have offered such fun adventures so far.  But it is so exciting for us to be able to pack up the "kits" and head back for the holidays.  When we were in New Jersey, it always broke my heart to leave the girls at home and how much time and money- was wasted in the airports! But now that we are in Denver, we are so thankful that we are just a few highways away!!

So you can imagine how we spent our Thanksgiving.  O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A or bust! We enjoyed some great food! Even cooked some great food! Saw some extended family from out of town.  Always great to see them. Shared some laughs.  Saw the new TWILIGHT movie!! And visited with a few of our favorite people, we like to call family!

We got a few nights out on the streets of Bartlesville to visit some folks! Thanksgiving always brings people back to town and it was great to go out and visit with some old faces.  We sang a little Karaoke.  Had a few drinks. And talked about good times!!

I am so thankful for such a great Thanksgiving but I think one of the greater things to remember on Thanksgiving is to not only celebrate these wonderful gifts of life on just this day but EVERYDAY!

Thank you!
